Programs
Toddler Time
Age Group:
3 to 4 years
This program is for toddlers. This program offers fun play, interactions, development skills, socialization, etc.
On Our Way
Age Group:
3 to 4 years
Program is for pre-school kids 3-4 years of age. This programs teaches, enhances skills and prepares children for kindergarten.
After School
Age Group:
5-8 years
Program is designed for children ages 5-8 years of age. Sessions rotate on a weekly basis; cooking session, craft session, science session and physical activity session.
Drop-In Play
Age Group:
1 to 12 years
Program allows kids to drop by the centre and play with any resource that they like. Resources include, puzzles, games, puppets, water table, playdough, sliding, etc.
4-6 Weeks Programs
Craft Time
This program allows kids to play with hands on resources, coloring, cutting, gluing, etc.
Dancing Doodles
This program introduces children and their families to exercise activities, age appropriate dances and sing alongs. It's lots of fun!
Just Imagine
This is a four week program. The kids participate in all different activities, roleplays, crafts, snacks, etc.
Little Chef’s
This is a funfilled 4 week program that allows the kids to participate hands on with food. Preparing meals and snacks. All the kids will wear a chef hat and apron that is available at the Family Resource Centre.
Little Scientist
This hands on program will be offered for four weeks. It allows the kids to roleplay little scientist. The activities are really interesting and fun. The kids will certainly enjoy all the science experiments.
Me & My Family
Children start a keepsake book on their family. This book would include; favorite songs, food, what they want to be when they grow up, Growth Chart, photo's, etc.
Music & Friends
Teaches children about music and musicians. Make instruments, visits from local singers, etc.
Traditions & Cultures
This program is designed to teach children Newfoundland and Labrador Traditions and Cultures; berry picking, ugly stick, boil-up, etc.
Tool Time
Children will make a variety of items, tool box, Pins, etc. They will paint & color them as well.
